18.12.2014 - Travelling available to all in 2015Ministry for Regional Development announced a call for submitting applications for a grant in support of accessible tourism. Priority will be given to projects which are aimed at children, families with children, the handicapped and the elderly. For their support has been allocated 50 million CZK.
Authorized applicant: - Business entities (legal body or natural person with a minimum of two years of business activity and positive economic results in the last two close accounting periods) - Municipality (excluding statutory cities)
Supported activities: 1 renovation/construction of rest areas, centres for tourists and sanitary facilities for pedestrians, cyclists and disabled tourists along the hiking trails, educational trails, equestrian trails, waterways, cycle routes 2 accessing the tourist attractions, 3 implementing/innovating/creating navigation and information systems for the hearing and visually impaired visitors to tourist attractions, 4 acquisition facilities for safe parking for bicycles and luggage storage, All these inluding the promotion of realized outcomes.
Project activities can be started only after the application and must be completed by 2016. The granting of the subsidy must be used up by the end of 2015.
Form and amount of grants: Grants can reach maximum 50 % of eligible costs, whereas the limit of the total eligible costs are as follows:
Grants will be provided under the „de minimis“ (subsidies granted to one entity in this mode for the last three years may can be a maximum of 200 000 EUR ).
Submission of applications: Applications can be submitted until February 12, 2015, 16:00.
