Ostrava Town Hall plans to prepare a set of embossed maps and join Prague and Brno, where that kind of maps already help people with visuall impairment in orientation and locomotion in town.
Up to 50 map sets will point out the most important orientation and tourism points like sights, railway stations, streets or tram lines in a centre of Ostrava and the main city boroughs. These maps should be available at the offices of Ostrava information service by spring.
